How to Stay Healthy by Maintaining a Body PH Balance

Most times unhealthy food choices are inevitable, especially when you have to wake up early to beat traffic for work and still get home late. In cases like this, eating to get by or for strength becomes the primary unconscious focus, rather than eating to stay healthy.

Unless you are an early riser with a well-planned schedule, it would be a miracle to eat right. Meaning, your diet might include juggling between junk or processed food you can get your hands on here and there. All of these will over time begin to affect the body’s PH balance.

The PH balance is so important, that it determines the overall well-being of the body that if not balanced, would cause total disaster to the body. This is because the body will become susceptible to diseases and the immune system of the body will be weakened or destroyed.

According to alteredstates.net, the pH range is from 0 to 14, with 7.0 being neutral. Anything above 7.0 is alkaline, anything below 7.0 is considered acidic. A healthy blood pH without cancer has acid + alkaline balance almost equal. Actually a healthy body is slightly alkaline measuring approximately 7.4.

Diseases including cancerous ones, survive when the acidity of the body is high. These diseases can be so dangerous that they could be life threatening or life changing. The body could become prone to attack on the digestive system leading to diseases like gastric reflux, nausea, bloating, and indigestion.

  • -The circulatory system dysfunction leading to diseases like heart failure.
  • -Attack on the Immune system, making the body a breeding ground for bad bacteria.
  • -The Respiratory system attacking the tissues and causing cell malfunction.
  • -The skeletal system causing diseases like Arthritis which a disabling disease that is caused by accumulated acid that destroys the cartilage between the joint.
  • -Luckily for us, maintaining a healthy PH isn’t rocket science, because there are tons of fruits and veggies that are high in alkaline, that if incorporated into your daily diet, would keep the body at a balanced PH.

Although Oranges are high in acid, they become alkali when inside the body. Bananas are natural antacids, making the perfect for digestive function. Other fruits and food substance that will do an amazing work at keeping the body PH balanced are Olive Oil, Melon, Lemon, Pineapples, Carrots, Avocado, Pawpaw, Grapefruit, Spinach, and Cucumber.

A healthy PH is in itself healing to the body, and as the great scientist, Antoine Béchamp famously observed 'The germ is nothing, the terrain is everything.'

So eating healthy is everything, and will prevent a breeding ground for diseases. Whatever your schedule is, it is important to make out a planned daily diet to keep your body very healthy and happy.
